Healthy Smoothies Recipes To Try Today

There are several great, fruit based and wheat germ based smoothie recipes that any dieter can try easily. These are not only great for losing weight with, they also taste fantastic.

1) Frozen blue berry smoothie recipe:

Ingredients:

  • First take, a ½ cup frozen blue berries.
  • Then a ½ mug of low- fat vanilla yogurt.
  • Take ½ cup of skimmed milk.
  • After that take 2 tablespoons of honey.
  • You can take also some ice- cubes, if desired.

Preparation:

Put all the ingredients in a mixer and keep it for blending until a smooth mixture is obtained. When the blend is complete, serve it in glasses.

2) Wheat germ smoothie recipe

Ingredients:

To prepare wheat germ smoothie you need to have following ingredients:

  • First take a 1 full grown banana.
  • Then take 1 cup non fat yogurt or low fat vanilla.
  • Take ¼ cup of fresh orange juice that is rich in citric acid.
  • Again take ¼ cup of wheat germ.
  • Take one cup of cracked ice.
  • 1 cup of fresh sliced peace or bananas.

Preparation:

Firstly, take a banana and cut it into small pieces. Then place the banana in the blender with orange juice, peaches and wheat germ. After that add cracked ice cubes, if required. Then keep the mixture for blending and wait until a smooth mixture is obtained. When a perfect mixture is attained, serve immediately in elevated glasses. You can also garnish it with a piece of banana or peach and give a shower of wheat germ on top.

3) Raspberry strawberry smoothie recipe

Ingredients:

  • Take a cup of rasp berries and;
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • Then take ½ mug of pine apple juice.
  • After that, take 1 cup of low fat natural yogurt.
  • Also take 5 ice cubes for a cooling effect.

Preparations:

Put all the above ingredients in a food processor and blend it well. After some a smooth or desired mixture of ingredient is obtained. Serve the mixture in tall glasses.

4) Berry blast smoothie:

Generally, berries are considered as a most preferred ingredient of a smoothie. This recipe will provide one with a large quantity of berries. Combination of other varieties of berries can give a delectable taste.

Ingredients required:

  1. Take a ½ cup of raspberries.
  2. Also take a ½ cup of strawberries.
  3. Then take, a ½ mug of black berries.
  4. Take a cup of low- fat yogurt.
  5. After that, take a ¼ cup of low-fat milk or you can also take a cup of fat-free milk
  6. At last take 2 cups of ice.

Preparation: mix all the above ingredients in a mixer and mix it well. When a smooth desired mixture is attained, serve it in glasses
