Monitoring the heart rate while swimming is a good idea. You can always start by determining a maximum heart rate: in healthy adults, with no history of heart disease, the heart rate can go up to a maximum of 220 minus the age of the individual. Once you have obtained the maximum heart rate of the particular individual, check routinely while exercising. You have to check the pulse and count the number of beats during a ten second period. Using a clock for better accuracy is advisable. After the completion of counting the beats for ten seconds, multiply the number by six to get the exact heart rate.

Jogging For Losing Weight

Jogging is another effective way to lose weight; it is one of the best exercises suggested as it helps improving health conditions of an individual. Jogging also is a worldwide exercise to lose weight fast. Whether you are in your old age or you have just started school, jogging can be just the perfect exercise for you. You can as per your liking choose a place where you like to jog: some people prefer to jog in the garden, while others prefer to jog on a beach. Jogging works on your thighs and buttocks and strengthens them. While jogging one burns almost about 2700 kcal directly from your fat, for every 7km stretch. Jogging is also recognized as a good cardiovascular exercise. It provides oxygen for your body, and this oxygen is used to construct ox hemoglobin which plays a vital role in circulation of blood in the body.
